“When There’s Nothing Left” is an instrumental piece that tells a story of hope, even in the darkest times. It was written by myself and a friend of mine named Jay Hassler. It has a special significance to me – as I wrote it when I was in a rather desolate place. I questioned how I could write such a hopeful song even in the midst of all the despair, hence its name. For when there truly is nothing left, there is still Hope. There is still something to Hope for. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” – Jer. 29:11
