There are 3 “Eras” that Pubs go through in their community development. Each era brings with it a shift in mentality that the leadership must adopt. Eras don’t contradict steps in the Roadmap, but instead the mentalities are coterminous. 

Era 1: Establishing with Formation. First, we establish the community.  Establish the boundaries of what is the Pondering Pub and help people form what your Pub will come to be. 
Era 2: Growth with Enrichment. Next, we encourage the bonds of community to strengthen, so the individuals begin to identify themselves with the group and begin relying on one another.
Era 3: Sustainment with Expansion. Now that we have an established community, we go out into the world and foster the arts leveraging the community we’ve built. 

Below are resources that accompany each step. Though they aren’t confined to that particular step, leaders in that era will likely find those resources most helpful at that stage.
